AN ACT INCREASING THE BED CAPACITY OF THE AMANG RODRIGUEZ MEMORIAL MEDICAL CENTER IN THE CITY OF MARIKINA, FROM FIVE HUNDRED (500) TO ONE THOUSAND (1,000) BEDS, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. The authorized bed capacity of the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center (ARMMC), shall be increased from six hundred (500) to one thousand (1,000) beds.
Section 2. The existing professional healthcare services and facilities of the ARMMC shall also be upgraded to conform with and be commensurate to the increase in bed capacity as provided in Section 1 hereof.
Section 3. The existing workforce of the ARMMC, which includes doctors, nurses, and support personnel, shall be increased correspondingly
Section 4. The Secretary of Health, after consultation with the Medical Center Chief of ARMMC, and in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Budget and Management and the Chairperson of the Civil Service Commission, determine the additional new positions to be created.
Section 5. The Secretary of Health shall immediately include in the Department's program the implementation of this Act, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 6. If any provision of this Act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining parts or provisions not affected shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 7. Republic Act No. 9419, entitled "An Act Increasing the Bed Capacity of the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center from One Hundred Fifty (150) to Three Hundred Bed and Appropriating Funds Therefor", as amended by Republic Act No. 11287, entitled "An Act Increasing the Bed Capacity of the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center in the City of Marikina From Three Hundred (300) to Five Hundred (500) Beds, Upgrading the Service Facilities and Professional Health Care Therein, and Appropriating Funds Therefor", is hereby further amended. All other laws, decrees, orders, issuances, rules and regulations, or parts thereof which are inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed, amended or modified accordingly.
Section 8. This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.ℒαwρhi৷
