DECLARING FRIDAY, 09 JANUARY 2026, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MANILA

WHEREAS, the Feast of the Black Nazarene will be celebrated on 09 January 2026;

WHEREAS, millions of devotees are expected to flock the Quiapo Church and the City of Manila;

WHEREAS, in order to ensure orderly procession of devotees and to facilitate the flow of traffic, the City of Manila requests that Friday, 09 January 2026 be declared a special (non-working) day.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 09 January 2026, a special (non-working) day in the City of Manila.ℒαwρhi৷
